Terms and Conditions including Disclaimer & Indemnity

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of any document(s) or services from SheDocsOnline, a division of SHEconcepts (Pty) Ltd (Registration Number: 2017/382968/07). By purchasing or using any of our products, you (“the Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or purchase any templates.

Nature of Products

All products sold via SheDocsOnline are provided as template documents intended for general guidance and informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal, compliance, or professional advice. The templates are not tailored to your specific circumstances.

Client Responsibilities

It is the sole responsibility of the Client to:

  • Review and customise any template to suit their unique business, operational, and legal requirements;

  • Ensure the document is legally compliant in the country or region where it will be used;

  • Seek professional legal or regulatory advice where necessary to validate the use or applicability of any template;

  • Apply and manage the implementation of such templates in line with relevant legislation, including, but not limited to, Occupational Health and Safety and industry-specific compliance.

Disclaimer of Liability

Neither SheDocsOnline nor SHEconcepts (Pty) Ltd:

  • Makes any warranties, representations, or guarantees regarding the legal validity, accuracy, or completeness of any template document sold;

  • Shall be liable for any loss, damage, injury, penalty, fine, or legal action arising from the use or misuse of any template;

  • Accepts any responsibility for the Client’s failure to amend or adapt templates appropriately;

  • Will be held liable, whether in contract, delict (tort), statute, or otherwise, for any harm arising from reliance on or use of the templates provided.

Indemnity

The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SHEconcepts (Pty) Ltd, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates against any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal costs on an attorney-client scale) arising out of:

  • Use or misuse of any purchased template;

  • Failure to comply with applicable legislation;

  • Any third-party claims resulting from the Client’s use of a document.

 

Intellectual Property

All content, including but not limited to document templates, branding, logos, and website material, remain the intellectual property of SHEconcepts (Pty) Ltd and may not be copied, resold, modified for resale, distributed, or republished without prior written consent.​

No Refund Policy

Due to the digital and downloadable nature of the products, no refunds will be offered once a document has been purchased and/or downloaded. Please ensure you review product descriptions carefully before making a purchase.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.​

SHEconcepts (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. It is the Client’s responsibility to review the Terms periodically for any changes.
